Welcome to 4th grade!

Here is a little information about me: I was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie and I am a graduate of Lincoln Elementary School! I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education (with minors in Math, Science and Creative Arts) at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. I made my home there for 18 and taught 4th grade at Mattwan Consolidated Schools for 12 years until I moved back to SSM in 2018, where I taught STEM for 1 year and 5th grade Math/Science for 4 years. I also have my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University of Ann Arbor. 

I have two adult children, my daughter, Aaliyah, who graduated in 2022 with a Master's degree in Business, and my son Keegan, who works for a painting company in Kalamazoo and recently got married to his beautiful wife, Brenna. 

I have three dogs; Stella (8 years old), Freya (5 months old) and Toby (15 years old). I also have many interesting class pets; two Yooper spiders, a Spiketail millipede (Spike), a Blue Death Beetle (Little Blue) and a Leopard Gecko (Leo).
