  • HOMECOMING WEEK:  

     

    Merica Monday -  Wear red, white and blue or be dressed in camo!

    Rapper/rocker/country Tuesday - Students should dress like a rap/rocker/country music fan or musician!

    Mustache Wednesday - Students should have a mustache!

    Mathletes vs. Athletes Thursday - Students should dress like "nerds" or "jocks"!

    Blue and White Friday - Students should dress in blue and white!

    Parade line up at 4:30, judging at 4:45, leaving at 5:30.  The football game beings at 7 and the dance will follow immediately after the game.

  • MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY:  MSU will be in the library at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10th.  Any interested Juniors or Seniors, please see Mrs. Roy in the Guidance for a pass prior to the visit.

  • POOL UPDATE:  The pool is closed.  We anticipate it reopening on Wednesday, September 28th barring anything unforeseen.

  • LOVE YOUR MELON:  Love Your Melon is an apparel brand dedicated to giving a hat to every child battling cancer in America as well as supporting non profit organizations who lead the fight against pediatric cancer.  The LSSU Love Your Melon Crew and the Allied Health students are teaming up to host a hat day on the same day as the Blood Drive, September 28th.  Please donate at least $1.00 at the table in the lobby and wear your sticker to show your support.  The Love Your Melon Crew will have a booth set up in the library where merchandise and order forms will be available as well.  Only cash is accepted.  If anyone wishes to purchase merchandise online, be sure to check Lake Superior State Campus Crew Support as you check out.

  • BLOOD DRIVE:  Our first blood drive of the year will be held on Wednesday, September 28th from 8:30-2:00.  To schedule an appointment, contact Mrs. Smith in the Allied Health room or Melina Talentino.  You save three lives with every donation AND you get cookies! :)

  • ASVAB:  The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery will be given at Sault Area High SChool on Tuesday, October 25th at 8:30 a.m. in rooms 160, 161 and 162.  There is no cost to take this test.  Please sign up in the Guidance Office.  You must pre-register by Tuesday, October 11th.

  • TESTING:  The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying test will be offered at Sault High School during school hours on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.  All 10th and 11th grade students may take the PSAT/NMSQT.  Cost for the PSAT/NMSQT is $20.00.  Cost for juniors who qualify for free/reduced lunch is $5.00.  Cost for students who do not attend Sault High is $30.00.  To register for the test, submit a completed registration form and check or cash by September 28th to Mrs. Roy in the counseling office.  Please make the check payable to Sault High School.

  • LUNCH DELIVERY:  If you are delivering lunch to your student, please hand it directly to them at the time of their lunch through the lobby doors, not the secure entrance. Students are not allowed to run out to the car to get the delivery nor will they be allowed out of class to pick up food. Delivery of food and beverages is not allowed at any other time of the day.  There are 2 lunch periods this year:  A lunch is from 11:45 - 12:15 and C lunch is from 12:40 - 1:10.
