Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Schulte

My name is Lisa Schulte and I am a 2002 graduate from Sault Area High School. I graduated from Lake Superior State University in 2008 with a bachelor's in Secondary Education, with my major being social studies and a minor in History. I hold a Michigan Secondary Provisional Certificate with an Rx in Social Studies.  I also have a Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment from Marygrove College. This will be my 12th year of teaching Social Studies at Malcolm High School.

Currently, I'm the Varsity Softball coach at Sault High. I also coordinate the summer Rec Softball program for young girls ages 6-11 years old. I enjoy working out, kayaking, rollerblading, biking, and playing softball. Pretty much if it is a sport I'm game to try it. I love being active and believe it is important to maintain both your physical and mental health.

My goal for all students is to create a positive learning experience that prepares them for their future. I believe every student has the right to receive the highest quality education. I look forward to working with the students, parents, as well as the staff at Malcolm to make it a great school year.
